Well, I tried ACA capture PRO just now, it seems the thing is powered by dirty publicity (false claims, paid reviews and deceitful download buttons) rather than real functionality.  :)

And most amusing of all, the website claims that the program "gets" a CNET Editor's rating of 5/5, while in fact there's no CNET review at all, only a user rating of 2/5 which says the thing is crap.

Hello titan216, thank you for your interest in our forums and introducing ACA to everyone here.  :)

As you can see, some forum members and I believe you are affiliated with the product ACA which you mentioned, based on your previous posts (https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=46464;sa=showPosts)

Please refer to https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?topic=3429.0 for more information with regard to "obligation of disclosure"

BUT we take VERY seriously the obligation of disclosure - you absolutely must disclose when you have a relationship with a company or product when you post about it.

No offense, but I'd like to ask you to unambiguously clarify your affiliation with the ACA company and its products as soon as possible, since spamming is not in any way tolerated on our forums and will lead to permanent deletion of all related current and previous posts considered as spam.

i've talked with titan, and he's just a regular user - i think this was really just a matter of confusion in style of message posting, and we should all welcome titan216 with a nice warm welcome the way we normally welcome users  :-*

i think we just jumped the gun here because titan's posts "seemed" like a spam advertisement.

some thoughts that might be worth reading for new visitors to our site:

People on forums get really used to being "spammed" by advertisers, and they learn to recognize patterns.

Some posts have the "flavor" of one of these spam advertisements:
1) users very first posts are about the product and in different sections, repeating themself.
2) posts look like a copy and paste of program description from the website.

In general, people on almost all forums will expect a new person to post a few posts that don't have to do with a commercial program when they first arrive on a site, just so people can get to know them and trust them a little.  and then when you do post about a commercial program you might want to make very clear you aren't associated with the company and post your own thoughts rather than pasting from the product page.

--- End quote ---

anyway, welcome to the site titan216!
