But what is to stop somebody from copy/paste to a new note,
then overwrite the original exe file with that? -f0dder (September 07, 2006, 07:11 AM)

Hmm   :o  :-[
Yes, that's right. If they have access to an original fSekrit exe ...
Hmm BTW: will there be a fSekrit version without About-box and fSekrit in the title?  :D
If no one knows where this secret little exe comes from....

*grin* - security through obscurity ;)

No, I don't plan on such a version. But if your friends aren't going to respect a read-only copy, perhaps you shouldn't give them a copy in the first place  8)

i still think it would be nice to be able to set a flag that says this is readonly and make the memo readonly, just as a visual clue to the person viewing it and prevent accidental modification.  perhaps it only need check if the file itself is readonly, and if so set the readonly flag of the memo to match that of the file.

Nothing to do with respect (i will be respected, hmm, i must ask tommorow!)
but people are people, the wanna do there own things.
Giving out an r/o exe would give use more consistence in this things
