Conspiracy theorists would say it's really because the FBI, CIA, and NSA have no access to them.

Midnight Rambler:
Conspiracy theorist point taken since according to this article, the U.S. government's warning is more about politicking and protectionism than with communications security.  Hasn't stopped me at least from buying a Motorola phone.  All the same, I'm still also avoiding any Kaspersky products.  Want to avoid all of the "I told you so's."
