Nice :)
I remember the first Freespace game had cool music, so while I am terrible at those 3D space games, I'll still get it so I can extract the soundtrack xD

I wonder if they'll ever have any GoG Connect offerings again...

GOG is also giving away The Witcher: Enhanced Edition here: https://www.gog.com/gwent-welcome-bonus, but in order to be eligible for that giveaway, you need to have GWENT: The Witcher Card Game in your library. It's their Free-to-Play card game. So you could think of it as two giveaways.

And now for something a little different.

Linus Tech Tips built a console-sized PC and loaded it up with the top 500 best-selling games from GOG.

They're having a giveaway, where you could win the PC with all the games included:

Wasteland 2: https://www.gog.com/#giveaway

For the next 45 hours or so.

The storefront description of Wasteland 2 says it comes with a code for Wasteland 1. And that includes this giveaway version.

Follow the instructions below after you've claimed Wasteland 2:

Please go to your account:
https://www.gog.com/account
click on the game, click More > Serial Keys
to view your code.

Not getting that here, maybe geo-specific?

@Deo: Thanks, for some reason the DC version wasn't showing up when I tried it, go away for the weekend and return ... and it has appeared.

Another 48 hour GOG giveaway: Postal 2

Postal Classic is also free - this is permanent (I believe).  I'm not sure if this being free is new or if it has been this way for a while.

Per GOG: "From now on you can also get the first part of the POSTAL series for free on GOG.COM, this time permanently."

Gog has added a couple of games to their "always free" set:

  - Lords of Midnight
  - Doomdark's Revenge

I know nothing about these games (never heard of them before) other than they're from the mid-1980's.  But if you're into retro gaming, the only thing you're risking is your time.  I think GOG has been selling those games for about 5 years (but I'm not sure about that).

You can find all of GOG's permanently free games on this list: https://www.gog.com/games?price=free

However, that list also includes free DLCs and demos which take up about 75% of the list.

There's an option in the side-panel to hide DLCs, but I don't see a way to hide the free demos.

The Witcher Goodies Collection, which is all the "extras" for the Witcher games, such as wallpapers, soundtracks, etc., are being given away as part of the GOG Spring sale.

Due to much of the world being in a state of lockdown right now, GOG has compiled all their free games in one place, without the annoying LDC/demos. Or at least without most of the demos.

You can find the list of free games, and maybe something to bide your time if you can't go out here:

You can also get the game 'Tomb Raider' for free on Steam. The website 'Rock, Paper, Shotgun' alerted me today about it, tried it and it is free till the 24th of this month.

Oh cool. That's what the Latest Steam Giveaway thread is for.

I keep thinking it's probably a good idea to merge the two threads...
