the attempt would be bookmarking a forum while browsing threads and then export to html as a base to elaborate a newsletter

Bookmarklets!
As an simple yet powerfull extension could be considered using on various platforms. Like for instance... When bookmarkletting a bit on the Papaly  site, it can easily create beautiful (html) listings/overview and so on...

I've used the 'Grablinks bookmarklet' but there are tons of other variations and you can build an more personized one
without to much hassle..

--- ---javascript:(function(){var%20p=document.createElement("p");p.innerHTML="<strong>Loading%E2%80%A6</strong>";p.id="loadingp";p.style.padding="20px";p.style.background="#fff";p.style.left="20px";p.style.top=0;p.style.position="fixed";p.style.zIndex="9999999";p.style.opacity=".85";document.body.appendChild(p);document.body.appendChild(document.createElement("script")).src="//d2z4mgf8zqkbu2.cloudfront.net/bookmarklets/grablinks.js?x="+(Math.random());})();
Just create a new bookmark on your firefox bookmarks bar and copy the code from above into the location field. Now just hit the
newly created button on a website of choice and TADA  :D

Hi n8wachT. Thanks for the tip! It's useful to grab links from any site.

If the bookmark service can export to html, you just have to export and then add a bit of css to make the newsletter.
The advantage is that descriptions follow bookmark links nicely. Cheers

Also have this ... well, awesome bookmark tool to add. But you might not like the looks of it. Personally I like the oldskool approach Linkli's using, but maybe .. that particular detail make this tool awesome for some, and awfull for others. Let's try anyway. Adding links works the bookmarklet way (see previous reply's). They provide an easy ready to use button you only have to drag to where you like it to be. Now whenever you find a website interesting enough to bookmark just press the button- select a subcategory (optional) and hit it. Like most of the bookmark services work, only.. this one works blazing fast, you can almost feel it.

A handy extra is it gives you a .rss feed of your Linkli's (or other Linkli's of interest)..

Final tip: browse what is already there. There are some very fanatic folks who have done a lot of bookmarking work before us.
Main portal to crawl a bit around is the public list. From there you'll find your way..

Re: Bookmarking teamwork

When I was looking up the newsletter idea I ran into a number of curation tools.  I'll start a new Papaly (other tools to be considered) with what I found. Right now, I am mostly adding what might be new stuff, not the stuff above, or the general start page stuff.  Spending an hour on this, checking sites and all.

If the page is helpful I can give contributors access, who can add notes etc.
What is lacking is an immediate link to a notes page, like a specialized Evernote adjunct.  Some of the other tools might be stronger there (and pictures).

It was very helpful to first use the RoomyBookmarks system with Firefox.  Then I simply open up the whole folder and bring them in to Papaly (or any solid page-maker) one at a time.  The two-step works great.
