TeraCopy 3 updated August 11, 2016

(1/1)

Curt:
Teracopy is a copy handler for Windows PC only.
Teracopy is free, Teracopy Pro is $20. A Pro license is a Lifetime license.
Version 2 is still the official version - the update was for version 3 Beta
From time to time Teracopy Pro can be found discounted on Bits du Jour

Changelog:

Faster Logical to physical disk mapping.
    Mapped network drives detection.
    Notifications fix.
    Delete R/O files on replace.
Add entire drive to file list.
Quote comma in csv reports, export folders.
File date discrepancy increased to 2 sec.
    Better completed state icon.
    Smoother scrolling with touchpad.
    Other bugfixes.

TeraCopy is designed to copy and move files at the maximum possible speed. It skips bad files during the copying process, and then displays them at the end of the transfer so that you can see which ones need attention. TeraCopy can automatically check the copied files for errors by calculating their CRC checksum values. It also provides a lot more information about the files being copied than its Windows counterpart. TeraCopy integrates with Windows Explorer's right-click menu and can be set as the default copy handler-Teracopy

You may use the license for Pro in one of two ways: one user on multiple computers (example: a desktop computer and a personal laptop which are both used exclusively by you) multiple users on a single computer (example: a home computer which is shared by all family members)-Code Sector News

MilesAhead:
Thanks for posting.  I installed the Beta 2 a few days ago.  So far so good.

xekon:
TeraCopy Looks like it might be the perfect program for organizing or moving files on my media PC.

Can you tell me, is it possible to reorder, or change the order of files in the transfer queue?

Like if I add a file and decide I want it to get transferred sooner, can I move it up in the list?

Thanks.

Welcome here at DonationCoder's Forum, xekon

I don't think TeraCopy is what you're asking for. You might want to try out a program like Copywhiz: Crazy file copy app for Windows 10/8/7/Vista http://www.conceptworld.com/Copywhiz
