Brave: A new browser with built-in adblock and payment solutions

Isn't that managed by Uphold? If that's the case, then it's been around for a while. As a content creator, I had to verify my brave wallet with Uphold several months ago.

The Brave Rewards wallet is managed by Uphold. But the new one I was talking about is different from that one. With this new wallet you can manage any Ethereum-based tokens, or even Ether itself.
