Quick OCR Scan to Clipboard possible? (from Website/PDF/Picture)

Hi,

I use this app for many years thank you for such a great Tool! I tested in 2015 ashampoo again. But SSC is better for me!

Is there a plugin to make quick OCR scans in Clipboard? I have an App named MWS-reader http://goo.gl/YMNWrj. But it want for this only one app. And the work in MWS REader is the readeing of text. But this OCR screen feature is very interesting for screenshotCapture.

Can you not combine other free apps with SSC? Or is there a possibiity for this at now?

I can make a video to show you the feature of MWS Reader. It is very fast not like the Finereader app "Screenshot Reader". Its so fast that I use it very often after I recognized this feature.

Could you add it to 'External Tools' in SC:
menu: Tools >Configure External Tools

My suggestion was
- SC make a screensht
- SC use a Tool to make OCR
- The Text go to the Clipboard.

I can not understand your suggestion. You have to tell us how to configure SC to make an screenshot and sent it to the tool MWS Reader. so that MWS reader recognizes to make immediately a ocr Scan and past it to the clipboard.

mws reader should do it in backround. so that I use only SC

I am not a programmer! I don know how to configure this two tools to work like I said.

When you know how to do it pleas tell me step by step to test it.

I dont know -- I'm not familiar with the other app, so I cannot say.

Again not currently possible, though it has come up before.  You can easily add tools to SC menu to launch external processes, which should make it possible to use a 3rd-party OCR tool, but im not sure anyone has done this yet..
