Take a full page screenshot in Firefox using built-in commands

(1/1)

lanux128:
here is a tip i found at Stack Overflow with regards to taking a full page screenshot within Firefox using built-in commands.

as posted by user enreas:Since Firefox 16 you can press shift-F2 or go to Tools > Web Developer > Developer Toolbar to open a command line. Write:

screenshot

and press Intro in order to take a screenshot.

To fully answer the question, you can even save the whole page, not only the visible part of it:

screenshot --fullpage
--- End quote ---

Nice tip!

The other day I noticed that I can watch video, listen to audio, view PDF files, etc. in Firefox without external apps.  So when is the Firefox / Emacs merger?

Apart from using Shift-F2, you can also use a screenshot add-on. For you can get additional image editing tools which is useful in marking up some important contents.
