Perry,

A truly enjoyable and impressive presentation. I think I can safely say that, for most of us, that walk would be quite a feet, er…  feat.

Thank you very much for letting us in on this!

Perry Mowbray:
Beautiful photos, and beautiful presentation -- was it hard to create that presentation?

I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that it was all G+'s work... we're a bit flat out getting things ready for the main walk and I've just let G+ make the story from the uploaded photos  :-[

Thanks: I was surprised how much Sandi wanted to do this walk again... it was our first longer distance walk back in 2006/7, and really gave us a love for the monastic experience that being alone in the bush gives us. But we spent most of the time saying things like "I don't remember this bit..." or "This bit hasn't changed..."  ;)

It was probably mostly preparation for the Australian Alps, where our intended hike is 781km over 45 days this Spring. That walk will have us climbing and descending 34km!!

Looks like fun.  Thanks for posting this.

As an aside, this is the first Google Photos slideshow I've viewed, and I'm very impressed.  I'm looking into a photo hosting site, and will need to look seriously at that one.

Yes, I also have to think G+ has some usefulness after all.

Anand
