block private numbers from leaving voicemail?

I'm on at&t, and I have YouMail setup as my phone's voicemail service. Starting a few days ago, I've been getting voice mails in my at&t visual voicemail app from a private number. They aren't calling me, just directly leaving a voicemail. Is there any way to stop them from being able to leave voice mails?

are you telling us that even if you block this number, they can still leave a voicemail?

"Enhanced Caller ID" and "Smart Block" are features I envy YouMail users. But if the system can cheated that easy...

Does it make a difference to be a Premium user?

Private numbers have number forwarding turned off, you don't know what number is calling - you just get "Private number" as the identification.

The only way would be to ask your service provider to see what they can  do.

I'm not getting the voicemail in youmail. It goes to my at&t voicemail.
