You know someone is tripping if...
They encounter a table and chair. There's about a one foot gap between them. They stop to decide should they:
a) try to walk through the gap without moving either
b) move the chair to make more space and walk through the larger gap
c) walk around the chair
d) ask a friend what to do

Heh. When I lived in Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis was credited with substituting the term "Revenue Enhancement" for taxes. :)
