What's your significant other's favorite key on the keyboard?
allen:
Allen sits in the amber glow of a Deck keyboard, enjoying its rugged durability and compact design . . . little does he know its unconventional key placement will be the cause of confusion and, perhaps, the thing to rekindle his marriage.
Allen: What's your favorite key on the keyboard?
Heidi: Huh? Oh, you should know that. I like the little squiggly one that's usually . . . right here. But you don't have it?
Allen points to a space next to the space bar
Heidi: Yeah, that. I like it because it's kinda cute.
Allen nods, "Yeah, me too."
Heidi: We're in love again!
Allen: No, you stole my favorite key.

Also known as the "console key" in games inspired by Quake :). On Danish keyboards, what is the tilde key to you is ½/§ (no-shift/shift). Our tilde is located on the key right left of enter, and requires and altgr combo.

nudone:
anyone know how to get the 'tilde' key working on a UK keyboard in adobe illustrator?
Carol Haynes:
Go into Illustrator Help and search for Transform Pattern.
Sorry I don't know Illustrator well enough to know if it makes sense (it came in Creative Suite CS2 but I don't use Illustrator very much).
