Chrome babylon toolbar help
« on: September 30, 2013, 01:36 AM »
Hi there,
My chrome get infected with babylon toolbar virus, I have babylon search in the top right hand side search box in firefox.
That is very bothering and I want to remove it  completely.
Also babylon search is in the default address bar instead of google.
I removed Babylon Toolbar from my laptop control panel, but it's still there!
The other day someone in yahoo answers suggest a removal guide,
It's here
it looks decent, but requires to download an antivirus not heard before,
i just want to make sure everything won't go wrong again.
so is there a simpler way to remove this everyone hated toolbar?
Please suggest!

Earlier this month you said that you were a user of that anti-virus:

i currently use YAC virus removal tool, light weight and efficient to remove virus, fix browser  :-*
I have use free antivirus for years

So which exactly is it? You are a YAC user? Or you never heard of YAC? Both can't be true.  :tellme:

Babylon is one of the nasty things that seems to be cleverly enough pushed to get past even fairly careful users. It sometimes comes bundled with stuff and I've fallen into it before.
