LINUX: Remmina - superb remote access client
40hz:
Remmina! My current favorite multiprotocol remote desktop client, regardless of platform. Especially useful if you're primarily a Linux user that needs a reliable desktop client for accessing remote Windows servers. IMHO, Remmina works even better in that capacity than Microsoft's own RDP client.

About the Remmina Project
Remmina is a remote desktop client written in GTK+, aiming to be useful for system administrators and travellers, who need to work with lots of remote computers in front of either large monitors or tiny netbooks. Remmina supports multiple network protocols in an integrated and consistent user interface. Currently RDP, VNC, NX, XDMCP and SSH are supported.
Remmina is released in separated source packages:
* "remmina", the main GTK+ application
* "remmina-plugins", a set of plugins
Remmina is free and open-source software, released under GNU GPL license.

Nice find.
In case any one wants to compare with the gnome and kde default ones:

Challenge accepted... ;) :D
Gothi[c]:
Evidently Remmina uses the FreeRDP library, unlike most others which invoke rdesktop (which does it's own implementation).

Is that good or bad?
Also, does Remmina (the client) work on Windows as well as Linux?
