I have an INI file, but, I'm running CHS as portable, and as you'd expect it's in the same directory as the .EXE.  Are you getting caught out by the Virtual Store or something?-rjbull (August 21, 2013, 03:42 PM)

hi rj, in the installed version, there's only a "ConfigDir.ini" file in install folder.
I had a look under users but couldnt find anything relevant - but when just having a look, user folders are always a bit of a lottery (/nightmare) I find - too many options/directories.

I have:
c:\NoInst\ClipboardHelpAndSpell\
ClipboardHelpAndSpell.ini
ClipboardHelpAndSpell_UserTools.ini
ConfigDir.ini
ConfigDir_Default.ini
ConfigDir_Sample.ini

Too right  :(  How about using Everything or another file finder?

tomos:
^well I rarely search, but when I need to, I use XYplorer - so I tried that - did a search for "ClipboardHelpAndSpell.ini" on C:
I didnt find it but got this odd message:

Reset to defaults

but not feeling dedicated enough to follow up on the mysterious "41 items are hidden" ... :-\ :)

edit/ - configdir.ini is the only ini file in the install folder.

mouser:
On windows vista/7/8, for installed version, the ClipboardHelpAndSpell.ini file, as well as database files, should be in your documents folder in a subdirectory ApplicationData\DontionCoder\ClipboardHelpAndSpell, or something to that effect.

Exit CHS, delete those files, and restart and you'll have reset all settings.
