Hm.. Okay.. So - just to be clear - no workaround/patch is available, and the issue will remain until the next (major/minor?) version which I may have to buy in order to be able to use the software as intended ... Yes?

The fix is scheduled to be released 7-Aug-2013 in DiskSavvy v5.5.
Registered product installations will receive all subsequent product updates.
