  Pretty scary stuff.  I only hope that word spreads fast on this and people raise a big enough stink that the gov't backs off from this crazy Hollywood scheme.

Well it doesn't affect anyone who are just making "normal" websites, does it? Personally I don't care about what the media industry does for I hardly buy any of their products anyway.

Just use ActiveX or Java. Y'know... Those 2 things that we all ignore? :P
