Debenu PDF Tools Pro Free

<< < (2/2)

rowanhanna:
Hi Steven,

Debenu PDF Tools currently only works from right-click menu in Windows Explorer. However, we're currently working on new versions of PDF Tools and PDF Maximus and in these new versions we're going to update them so that they can work independently of each other and also work together. We'll also release a Lite version of Debenu PDF Maximus which is free and can be used with the free Debenu PDF Tools, so that the functionality is accessible through the right-click menu and also through an application.

Cheers,
- Rowan.

Hi pilgrim-online,

I'm from Debenu. The main difference between PDF Tools and PDF Maximus is that PDF Tools is available from the context-menu in Windows Explorer and lets you work on one PDF at a time where as PDF Maximus has a batch processing engine, along with watched folders, and can process lots of PDF files at once. It also lets you create workflows by adding lots of different actions such as split, stamp, secure, etc, to action lists.

There's a lot of overlapping functionality (such as split) but the two tools are used in different ways.

If you've got any other questions, let me know.

Cheers,
- Rowan.

Hi Rowan,

Thanks for the reply.

I only work on individual files so PDF Tools is the way for me to go.

Given the nature of the site and my (lack of(?)) computer skills I thought it was app(t).

Hi,

Thanks, Rowan.
I'm not sure if I will work with the Explorer method, but either way I thank you for the neat offer.

Added 3-28: downloaded and ready to try.  Thanks again. I noticed that you have a solid looking forum as well, always a good sign.

The PDF software world is complex. On printing to PDF I use Bullzip, it is possible that I may be doing a lot more PDF stuff in the near future and your toolkit looks good.

Steven
