Ps. from the Webcam capture form you can hit 'c' and 'p' to do the two different kinds of captures.

A couple of times at first, I think it was p that brought up the pop-up dialog.

Capture image from webcam or video device, from the 'capture' dropdown menu in the main window shoots the SC main window. nevermind, that is working, i guess i hit the wrong thing

Sorry, you are right 'c' and 'p' do the same thing -- they do what the "capture+" button does -- that is, they take a very quick snapshot and save it and stay open -- and bypass any post-capture options.
The 'S' key does a Snapshot capture, which closes the webcam dialog, and does whatever the normal post-capture options are (show post-capture dialog, print, upload, caption, etc.).
