Looks like an interesting approach to file management but the portability thing would be a must, for me. My portable hard disk is my primary operating environment most of the time :)

Maybe it might be useful info that portable version has been released, you can download it on:

It is also not just made portable, but accommodated to be used on portable drive (more info on my blog post at: http://www.deskandarchive.com/blog/88-desk-a-archive-portable)

Also, for those who prefer desktop version, in version 1.0.2 new licensing mode is available which allows to run application on as many computers as you like, as long as only one instance is running.
