Tool for re-formatting text

(1/2) > >>

Child-in-silence:
Hi everyone,

I'm searching for a tool that strips any formatting of text that is copied to the clipboard an re-formats it in another, previously specified, way.

I know of a bunch of tools / AHK-scripts that get rid of any formatting but haven't yet found one that can add a new font-style and/or size.

Cheers  :)

I really like Dolphin, but I think what Child wants is a little different than what DTE offers.  DTE lets you select text and modify its structural formatting in situ in many ways (like sorting, changing case, etc), but to me the request sounded like Child would like to copy a snippet in Eras Bold 15pt and paste it back out somewhere else in Tekton 12pt.

@Child-in-silence: You might find CHS (Clipboard Help & Spell, from DonationCoder) of use. It's quite a powerful tool.
I haven't used CHS to apply predefined formats/templates to the output, but it effectively operates on what is in the clipboard, and with some effort can probably be used to automate text/format conversion to a preferred format.
