Deozaan:
And all of my previous videos suffered due to very low audio from my microphone.

warning: i had a snowball microphone in the past; it was very good quality but one of its quirks was recording in very low volume, so i needed to increase volume in post production.

To clarify, I was talking about videos recorded with a different microphone.

Interestingly, I've been on voice chat while using the Snowball iCE and people on the other end of the internet have asked me about sounds they heard that were coming from someone in the next room over from me, so it seems like it is capable of picking up noises and speech very well from more than a few feet away. That said, my short tests with Audacity and OBS gave me quieter volumes than I would have liked. But I didn't test it thoroughly enough to know if there was just some kind of misconfiguration on my part or what.

Either way, I'm hoping that having the Snowball iCE on an adjustable boom that I can position a few inches from my face will help with picking up my voice loudly enough.

I picked up this awesome $21 bike "computer" gadget for my bike last week; nicely shows speed, and lots of information in a nice way:

ps I haven't ridden a bike in 20 years but last week we did two 20 mile trips, and then on a whim signed up for a 50 mile event yesterday.. We had fun!

What kind of bike do you have?  I've been thinking about getting another bike since I'm at home all the time.  Right now I only have my folding bike that I keep in the back of the car to use spur of the moment.  Since I'm working from home now, it doesn't get as much use as it used to.

It works well, but is mostly for light riding, and I have a lot of trouble with hills on it.

Forgot to reply to this!

I have a 2017 Giant Roam 2.  It's a hybrid bike -- so a bit like a mountain bike but with less aggressive tires so suitable for reasonable amounts of road riding, and not heavy trails.

So far I'm really liking it, and gadgeting it up like mad (rear cargo carrier, lights, etc.).  The seat was too small for me so I've swapped that out.

The only thing I'm still adjusting to is the flat mountain bike handlebars.. They felt ok until I tried a friends nice cruiser touring upright handlebars which felt like heaven taking a relaxed cruise.. For longer rides I'm sure I'd appreciate my bike more but for leisurely cruise, I'm envious of the relaxed nice high upright handlebars...

I have this on my phone, instead: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mrchops.android.digihud

It was the only app I could find that was suitable for walking speed (not just for cars or bikes).
