dcUpdater - setup file corrupt

I downloaded dcUpdater v1.30.01 from the web link:  https://www.donationcoder.com/Software/Mouser/Updater/index.html

When I start the download, the filesize is listed as 1.48 Mb.  On saving, the filesize is 206 Kb.  When I try to run it, the message is displayed:

"The setup files are corrupted.  Please obtain a new copy of the program."

Did this twice.  I'm using IE8 regular downloader and have not previously had a problem with downloading.

Do you have any insight as to what might be happening here?

I've seen something like that on other downloads (not here). I think clearing the browser cache should help.

Hi IceTater,

You were good to try downloading twice, as it sounds like the download did not complete.
The problem is that once a downloader gets confused it can keep making the same mistake because its grabbing from the cache on subsequent tries.
Can you try downloading with an alternative browser (chrome, firefox, etc.)?

Hah!  I rebooted and it downloaded fine.  I'm sure it would work fine with Chrome.  Thank you for the insight.
