hello!
manipulating pdf has always been a hard work for me, mainly because of lack of tools
now, I can do alot of things with these:
xpdf
pdftk
can you help me complete this list with other useful free cmd/gui pdf tools?
also, which are the best xpdf and pdftk gui versions?
thanks!

I've searched a lot for these. I don't think you'll find a freeware one with good editing capabilities. My strongly preferred pdf editor is bluebeam. very strongly preferred.
jpfx:
foxit pdf editor used to be the 'must have' pdf editor for me.
however, it is no longer available as a standalone and last time I looked was a part of their phantom business suite. inaccessible through the gui or start menu items, I had to run it from the program install folder, which might mean if you didn't know it existed, you'd never run it.
things might've changed...
