OK, for those of you who do not know, CentOS is a Linux distribution.

This exchange would be more funny, if it wasn't so pathetic.

Dear Jerry,
sometimes my students do really, really dumb things and I find it hard to maintain  my composure. I'd like to thank you for giving me a perspective on their occasional idiocy and for helping me realize that even if they show NO improvement whilst in my care, at least they'd find a place in Tuttle, OK where they'd be inconspicuous.

LOL - he's write he couldn't make up anything so ridiculous. Makes you wonder what Jerry had acheived in his "22
years in computer systems engineering and operation" - probably bugger all, but almost certainly a lot of confusion!

excellent reading.

i just wonder how such people make it through a complete day without running into a fatal accident. seems like an absolute miracle that they make it into maturity and reproduce.

i imagine his day goes something like this:

gets up and makes some coffee and turns on the radio.
calls radio station to acuse radio reporter of causing the robberies he heard about on the radio.
gets in his car for work, takes time to threaten his neighbor with a lawsuit for the price of gasoline.
buys a sandwhich at lunch and tells the shopkeep he will call the fbi unless the shopkeep fixes the breaks on his car.
at quiting time asks the secretary to explain why his television has stopped working.
etc.
