Regarding transparency -- have you tried the transparent background display option for the dock?

Dochappy:
I have but when I use it no matter if I dock on top,bottom,or sides the icons end up appearing over my taskbar or other relative important areas I need clear and it makes it hard to see the icon. I've arrived at a happy medium for now with the location and size lol

again I thank you for your help and all the work you put into your programs
