Let us know what happens if you actually run that  :tellme:

I did. Works fine -- should I be wary of it for some reason, or are you just wondering how it works on a modern version of Windows?
(Seems to work fine on Win 10)

I'm wary of the fact that softpedia repackaged it with an installer and it's not an archive. Just wondered if it installed anything else.

rgdot:
Don't download many these days but used to often, never had any issue with crap or malware, in old or new downloads, from softpedia.

Today I noticed that an old problem with this excellent product has gotten worse. It has always been the case that after sleeping my Windows 11 computer overnight, Ether fails to capture the first few copies to clipboard. Usually, I just press Ctrl+C twice in a text editor and the problem is gone.

But today, not long after the dreaded Windows Upgrade to its delayed but finally forced latest version, this morning it is not capturing the clipboard at all, even after closing and restarting Ether, even after a manual capture, even after different ways of setting the clipboard text.

I'm hoping you're still supporting this wonderful app and have a suggestion for a workaround. I will try a computer restart and post again if that fixes the problem.

ADDED:

Restarting alone didn't fix the problem, but copying from my text editor using both Ctrl+C and Context Menu, after restarting, was successful in getting Ethervane Echo to capture automatically again.
