A team of researchers, studying the economics of email based spam, have released a detailed report on how the whole system works and how much do spammers make from these transactions. The researchers made over 100 purchases at these spam-advertised pharmaceutical sites for the study, spending a few thousand dollars.

Um... Wow...40%?!? That's enough to make you want to vacation in Russia with a laptop mail server.

I wonder if the counterfeit Viagra is more or less potent - Do you call a doctor if it lasts more than 2 -or- 9 hours?

Scientists really spend their time researching some stupid stuff...whats next?

Scientist 1: "Wanna cure some really bad illness?"
Scientist 2: "Nah, im gonna see how many peanuts i would need to shove up a pidgeons ass before it turns inside out"
Scientist 1: "Sounds like fun...you can use my $2Million Grant for it if I can help!"
