Brief unplanned server downtime tues mar 29, 2011 at 1pm

The main DC server went down this afternoon for 20 minutes or so due to an OS/vmware crash -- looks like we were just doing too much at once (newsletter, recompiling kernel, etc.); but it's back up and ok now.

AND we passed the 12K mark!!

Ah you've caught on to our sneaky plan.. some carefully staged downtime to serve as a threat of what's to come if people don't donate ;)
