Error at first startup

(1/1)

Dansync:
When I started Desktop Coral for the very first time, I got the following error:
Access violation at address 00431083 in module 'DeskopCoral.exe'. Read of address 0000039C.
--- End quote ---

Everything seems to work fine though and the second time I started Desktop Coral, there was no error.

Any idea what caused this? I'm running Desktop Coral on Windows XP 32bit.

mouser:
that is strange.. if it didn't happen on subsequent runs it probably has something to do with the default settings on first use.  can't think of what it would be in particular though..

Dansync:
I also have a system running Windows 7 Professional 64bit where I have the same problem.
I tried in on this system with a clean download of the setup.
Hopefully this information is of some help, as Desktop Coral is a very nice piece of software, and it might scare some users off when getting such an error at first startup.

mouser:
Pestario,

thank you again for the report -- i tested it out on a new windows 7 install and got the exact same error.
i've now released an update that should fix that problem for new users.

thank you again for taking the time to report it, i appreciate that!

Hey mouser,

It's working great now. I have tested the new version (v1.10.01) on Windows XP 32bit and Windows 7 64bit.

Keep up the awesome work you do at DonationCoder and thanks again!
