Facebook is starting to tick me off

ok, "my friends on chat",(on the left side of the main page) only shows pictures of my friends and not their names. How do I get their names only back?  Because of the small pictures I am having to mouse over the pics to see who it is.  that is just not right.

I have googled this but no good answers yet.  Any ideas?

edit: I should also say that i have been through all the settings and don't find anything promising.

They probably changed things so you can't have a list there any more.

But all hope isn't lost, if you are willing to have a list on the right side instead of the left.

That little chat thingy on the right has it's own options panel and if you check off all the boxes like this, it will give you a list that stays open, with names instead of images:

seems the actual chat window has done the same thing, and the options don't help.

Stupid thing, now i dont have names, or timestamps, mearly a bloody useless profile pic :s

Not quite the answer I was looking for.  But leaving the window open uses up precious screen real estate that could be better used elsewhere.   :eusa_boohoo: :wallbash:
