If you don't need Photoshop CS5, you can get Photoshop & Adobe Elements 9 together from Adobe for $149 with $30 mail-in rebate. You can get just the Photoshop Elements 9 at eBay for $95 maybe less(see attached files). It seems that only one has content-aware fill, so be sure to consult the comparison before buying. CPSSoftware has the $15 Instant Wire Cleaner, made just for removing wires. Most of the wires in a picture are automatically highlighted with red. Paired with Easy Selection Tool – specially designed to select dark linear objects like wires with only a few clicks - this is a very easy way to do the job.
They also have InstantMask Pro, which I use for larger objects.

Has anyone already found a way for Kalos to get the pictures they want? If so, I won't try to produce them using Inpaint.
