Where possible each entry includes author photo, new and forthcoming books, series, novels, anthologies, short stories, awards, links to authors' Web sites, author recommendations, links to searches in UK and US bookshops for the particular author, and "Visitors to this page also looked at these authors" lists.

Sanity check: I don't know who owns and operates this site, so I don't know what degree of authority its entries have.  But it looks right, our local library uses it, and it's a valuable resource for book lovers.
