print to PDF stationery / merge files?

(1/2) > >>

brotherS:
Hi,

I (seemingly) found a solution to my question at http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/779573.html - but when I tried that, the result doesn't look so hot... the stationery (a PDF file that looks great by itself) I was using looked kinda crappy (fuzzy) in the resulting PDF when pdfedit995 (http://www.pdf995.com/pdfedit.html) printed the text on it (from Word). The text itself (in the resulting PDF) looks very clean... strange.

Any ideas?

hi brotherS,
this is a great idea.

You say it's the original stationary part that goes fuzzy - I suspect the software doesnt really merge the documents 'properly', but converts the original to an image (of poor quality) and adds the word text as actual text.

Curious to see if anyone knows an easy way of doing this (that doesnt cost an arm and a leg)

mouser:
Have you tried FinePrint yet?

rjbull:
mouser's probably thinking of this feature of FinePrint: Print electronic letterhead
