A "charter membership" is granted to people who join an organization during its inception.
This month marks the
one year anniversary of DonationCoder.com, and starting
April 2nd we will no longer be accpeting new "
Charter Members" on the site/forum. Future donators will be known as "
Supporting Members"
Existing honorary members as of April 2nd will be upgraded to "
Charter Honorary Members".
While we don't have any immediate plans for benefits that will apply only to charter members and not supporting members, we do view the charter members as those people who supported this site when it really counted, and it's likely they will occasionally get special treatment on the site.
So thank you to all of the charter and charter honorary members for sticking with us and supporting the site through our first year - this site is thriving because of you (hey if you haven't set your avatar or yearbook quote on the supporter yearbook page,
now is the time).
So if you've been waiting for a good reason to
donate.. now you have one
