Its a pretty neat system type thing for U3 devices comes pre installed on selected USB drives. Check it out and see what you think. ;D

very interesting idea. i can see that being quite useful.
i know the general issue of being able to move your "working set of docs and settings and preferences" around between machines is a very hot area of research in ms labs and similar companies, and i do expect it to be something that is ubiquitous in the future.

Yup, the one I saw in action had open office installed on it for one of the products installed. U3 Anti-Virus was also installed on it.

What's so revolutionary about these drives? How are they different from any other USB pendrive with software on it?

correct me if i'm wrong but i think this is all about the software. they may be marketing it as a hardware-software combo, but i'm guessing it's just a standard usb pendrive with special software.
