Everyone must be stumped  :( I tried uninstalling/reinstalling again with the same result. Guess I'm out of business.

mouser:
one thing you could do is

* exit FARR
* find the FindAndRunRobot.ini file (check in both the FARR find and run robot directory and in the DonationCoder subdir of your MyDocuments folder), and rename/move it.
* retstart FARR
this file is not deleted on uninstall, and so if something is wrong with it, it could cause your problem.
dont delete it, because if it is the cause of your problem i want to see it!

Hello Everybody! Found this very promising piece of software, so I tried to test it.
But I only get this error messages when I start to type into the search field: FARR ERROR 1 and after that this message: FARR ERROR MESSAGE 2

Tried to delete the ini file mentioned the post above, but I don´t have such file...

WIN XP SP3, no plugins fresh FARR install!

Any suggestions?

whoa that is very strange.. i've never heard of such an error with a fresh clean farr install..

did you run the installer or unpack it manually and run it portably?

it only happens when you start to type?
