Explorer replacement with embedded modifiable console ?

<< < (3/4) > >>

Target:
Kill is not good word here: TC simply closes handles to used DLLs but all of them can be back again if you want to (without the need for restarting application). IIRC it just calls for FreeLibrary(HMODULE hModule) on each working plugin.

that's the answer i was looking for - many thanks!!

kartal:
There is an annoying thing about this plugin though. Everytime I restore the TC window(from background) the console window comes in full which covers the whole TC area. Does anyone else have the same issue?

I could swear it did not happen before. Well, I will post bug report on TC board later.

wraith808:
I would like to try this when fixed- or if anyone knows of an alternative, that would be good too.  I never thought about this until Kartal mentioned it, but it's definitely a good idea and a timesaver!  One that allowed cygwin and/or windows powershell would be even better!

CWuestefeld:
UltraExplorer has an embedded command prompt window. See red-circled area below:

This also has an option to auto sync the command line cd with the currently-selected folder in the listview. It does this just by pumping cd commands into the command prompt.

But there's no way to insert the shell of your choice (I don't think).

Freeware.
