O@O Disk Image 3,5 Professional Edition - 4 Free

(1/2) > >>

4FreeTeam:
Hi mouser and friends!

There is this german promotion, limited to 25 000 licenses, and maybe some DC members/readers are interested in grabbing this great quality software.

Create images and restore entire systems quickly and easily. O&O DiskImage offers reliable protection from unforeseen data loss. All standard and professional functions are bundled up in one product. Automated, as well as individual settings are possible. Thanks to the Start CD, which includes additional system rescue tools, you will quickly have all your important data available again – even, if Windows does not start up anymore.

The actual version is V4 ( worth $ 29,90 )
There was another free popular free promo for V 2. Here are the main enhancements from V2 to V3,5  :

- enhanced Vista compatibility
- time-scheduled imaging
- full and incremental imaging
- strong AES algorithm ( encryption level of up to 256 Bit )
- The image can only be restored when a password is entered
- quick and efficient compression process specifically optimized for Microsoft Windows
- improved password management

Note that the PC Welt promotion gives you the only-german version ( if we are not wrong )
... But the supplied register key works with the english version . You can get it from the official download archives or other DL sites.

Small warning: I did not check but if they want an email address be aware. They like to advertise their stuff too much.

Sadly said, I had got older version of this application back in 2002 and gave them my email. Even now I am receiving their newsletters. Sometimes one per week, sometimes more (dozen). I did try to stop subscription but it work for half year. So… be aware ;)
