IDEA: Only show desktop when desktop is active
« on: July 03, 2009, 06:33 AM »
So when any other thing than the desktop is active, hide the icons. When is the desktop active? When clicked upon, or some shortcut key is pressed (windows key + d, windows key+m) or the show desktop icon is clicked on the quick launch bar.

Skrommel's HideDesktop looks a good bet for this task..

HideDesktop - Only show the desktop icons when the mouse is on the desktop.

Almost, but it hides the complete desktop. I have some rainmeter shizzle on my desktop which I do want to view.
