there are 3 methods in this web page. you can try method 2 which is using Tweak UI to "auto-logon" into Windows.

Open TweakUI (Click Start, Programs, Powertoys for Windows XP). Expand the Logon branch, and click Autologon. Turn on the "Log on automatically at......" option, type your username and password, and click Ok.-website

you don't have to set a password, unless you want to. ;) but i'd recommend trying the Tweak UI method without a password.

I remember now that I use to have the TWEAK UI program installed before I got my computer
fixed. Tried it and it worked GREAT!!!!
