want to clear previous search term - what am I doing wrong

Hi.  Sometimes my previous search term is cleared and sometimes its not, and I end up typing my new term on the end of the previous one.  What setting should I be looking for to fix this (so it's always cleared)

this can happen when you don't actually close farr but switch away and it goes under another application, and then bring it back with the hotkey, which can happen if you are forgetful.

let me know if it happens in other cases(!)

however what i could do is make it an option so that it ALWAYS clears when you hit the hotkey to focus it.

this is the the opposite of what i requested some time ago.. perhaps Farr could made to differentiate between being closed and losing focus.

i've added a new option for this, so you can decide which behavior you prefer -- clearing always when hotkey triggered, or restoring focus and not clearing if the window is already onscreen.
