Any freeware alternatives to Faststone MaxView?

(1/7) > >>

superboyac:
i used to use Maxview because i thought it was free.  but I checked now and see that it's shareware.  is there any freeware that does what maxview does?  I need it to be free so i can use it at work (they won't buy little things like that).  I just need a quick, light program to view photos, so i don't have to use the stupid Windows picture viewer when i double-click pictures.

superboyac:
I was going to say Irfanview...but that is only free for home use also.

To fill in the gap, here is a dc mini-review of MaxView:

have you looked at wanted: alternative to FastStone Image Viewer
as to what is suitable for commercial use - that can be pretty difficult to find out!

Maybe ArtSee from that thread?
