Portable Application Wrapper is a small application designed to do one thing; launch another application.  It was inspired by geek.Menu's insistence that an application be in the root of the installation path in order to add it to the menu.

Instructions are in the text file included with the application, and you can download it here.

Feedback is appreciated and if you have any questions or problems, post them here.

No, that is incorrect.  PortableApps.com menu uses the same system (geek.Menu is a fork of that), and also in any case where you need to launch an application from a different location than the executable lies it would work- sort of a portable shortcut... perhaps I need to rename it to Portable Shortcut or something like that, and perhaps enhance it so that the application doesn't need to be in a sub directory of the shortcut...
