MilesAhead:
What's the verdict on Mr Tech? Can it still be used to bypass FF addon version check? So far the only script I've found to change the AddOn maxVersion in install.rdf is a Python. But I'd rather not install ActivePython unless I find more use for py scripts that at present.

I know how to do it manually. Just don't want to reinvent the wheel if I don't need to. :)
( Or maybe there's an about:config to disable maxVersion check altogether? )

This is pretty much pointless nowadays that Mozilla automatically bumps compatibility for add-ons.
