Now the dust has settled after the foot-stomping, fun-filled board game bonanza, let's review the situation.

Of the tangible gifts that you received during the gift-giving season which one was your favourite?

Just to stir the pot a little, was there a gift that made you cringe?

Personally, I had my hopes raised when I noticed my wife buying a nice, working, scale model of a catapult.
I pictured dogs lying stunned all around the house as my aim improved.
Alas my dreams were shattered when I discovered that it was for her eight-year-old nephew.
Apparently it was considered an unsafe toy for the likes of me.

Probably the fact that my father's not living with us anymore, so my mother's not as psycho as she used to be

My highschool diploma, of course!
I'd say the dm2, but I haven't got it yet.

I got a Lexar 16GB flash drive that is now 60% full (10GB, and I've yet to put COD4 onto it (for those out-of-the-way LAN games :D)). I would love to get a 32GB next year :)

OMG, I forgot how to attach external images... ugh. I'm an idiot.

EDIT: ironically, my flash drive is at the same "used level" as the image.

Edit 2: Oh yea, my iPod Nano 5th Generation (8GB) isn't bad, either. Flash drive still takes the cake, though.

This was a year of very few tangible gifts (I'm not complaining. The intangible ones were awesome!) so I'd have to say that my favorite is Animal Crossing City Folk with Wii Speak. You know, for Nintendo Wii.

Speaking of which, I need more Wii friends. :-[
