Request: Does anyone know a good "pet" game?

Animal Crossing is a good game with which you can easily find yourself playing it every day for at least 5-15 minutes for a year or two since there's no way to "beat" the game, but I wouldn't exactly call it a pet simulator/pet game. All the animals speak and wear clothes and walk upright and have houses, etc. Basically just like humans except they're animals.
