How about using a large HTML table? Easy to add items then.

You could use icons/text like on the desktop to get them all neat and consistent ...

Must say I like the idea of quick links from icons at the top of the page.

an html table would work though i dont mind it at all the way it is now.

i use frontpage, but because of the php used for the ads and stuff its messed things up and so yeah you kind of have to upload to view it; installing apache with php locally could aid that.  ill see if i cant find a solution.
