On one machine i have, i can put desktop shortcuts under my (fully transparent) DesktopCoral dock.  The new code i've added to recent version will preserver the shortcut locations, and it works well.

On another machine (vmware), same OS (WinXpPro), the shortcuts become invisible when they are put where the Coral is.

Weird.  Can anyone shed light on this?

I can not put any shortcut on the dock after I set opacity 0.
as the snapshot showed, when the a shortcut of a doc film was put into the dock area. it was covered by the transparent dock.
